Private appointments

A table of your own, and the instruments in front of you.

A whole estate, a serious coin collection, or a bullion order in the tens of thousands does not belong in a retail line. A private appointment gives it a dedicated table, a booked slot, and one person at the counter for the length of it — with the testing and the scale on your side of the table and the payout worked on screen.

Free, unhurried, and nothing is decided until you have heard every number.

What happens

Method, in a room built for it.

The evaluation is the same measurement the counter uses every day; what changes is the room. Nothing is rushed by a line behind you, nothing is discussed in front of anyone else, and the only thing in your sightline is your own metal and the instruments reading it.

On the buy side the same table handles larger bullion orders and IRA purchases — see how an IRA purchase works.

  • A dedicated table or office — no counter traffic, no audience
  • Each piece tested and weighed where you can see the readings
  • The calculation on screen: purity, weight, spot, payout
  • Numismatic pieces flagged and priced as coins, not metal
  • Settled before you leave, or arranged by check or transfer
  • Your car close to the door, and help carrying it in

How to book

Pick a time; tell us what you're bringing.

The booking form takes the list of what you are bringing — even roughly — so the right instruments and the right person are at the table when you arrive. Pick a day and a time; the counter confirms by text or email before it is final.

Prefer to talk first? Call and ask for a private appointment; the same slots are available by phone.

When

Any counter hour, Monday to Saturday. Early and late slots by arrangement — ask when you call.

Questions people ask before they drive over

Who is this for?
Anyone bringing more than a single visit's worth: a whole estate, a coin collection built over decades, a bullion order of several ounces or more, or an IRA purchase with a custodian's paperwork. If you would rather not have the conversation at the retail counter, this is the way to have it.
Is there a charge?
No. Evaluations are free whether they happen at the counter or at the private table, and there is no obligation to sell or buy at the end of one.
How long does it take?
Book thirty minutes; a large estate can run longer and the slot is held open for it. The evaluation goes at the pace of the testing, not the pace of the line.
What should I bring?
The items, as they are — no sorting needed. Any paperwork that came with them: assay cards, grading slabs, receipts, an inventory if one exists. For an IRA purchase, your custodian's name and account number.
Can I be paid the same day?
Yes — a sale is settled before you leave, the same as at the counter. Larger settlements may be arranged by check or transfer; say so when you book and it will be ready.
